Behind the Scenes
We spent six weeks on the remote atolls of the North West Hawaiian Islands filming and deploying Crittercams on the endangered monk seals. Also, part of the film involved documenting submersible dives of 800 meters to capture the mysterious monk seal habitat. Filming the hatching of a green sea turtle nest was a definite highlight.
